An in-person Basic Fire Weather Course is now scheduled for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22. This event is hosted by the NC State Parks & The Nature Conservancy. The Florida Park Service Fire Management Program is pleased to announce that the Southern Area Engine Academy will be held in person this year, November 12-18^th at Wekiva Springs State Park in Apopka, FL. The class is taught by instructors through lectures, visual aids and field exercises. There will be a focus on teaching the
