The steering committee is selected by the membership as the governing and leadership body of the NC Prescribed Fire Council. The Steering Committee votes on the Council’s policies, projects, actions, financial matters and new membership requests.  The steering committee may direct/suggest the Chair in the development of subcommittees and task forces.
